With Easter fast approaching, it’s a wonderful opportunity to add some festive decorations to your home. This holiday brings the joy of spring with its soft pastel hues and delightful adornments. If you’re seeking a straightforward and imaginative way to embrace the season, we have a delightful DIY project for you.
This project cleverly transforms an ordinary cardboard paper towel tube into a stunning Easter-themed centerpiece. Although the idea of using a paper towel tube might not sound appealing, rest assured, it will be completely concealed.
The concept is to utilize the cardboard tube to optimize space within a vase while arranging flowers. The tube will be disguised with decorative elements like colorful Easter eggs. Ultimately, it will appear as if flowers are emerging from a vase filled with Easter eggs. The final product is a beautiful Easter centerpiece, perfect for your table when hosting an Easter brunch.
How to DIY an Easter Centerpiece

Let’s make the Cutest Easter-Spring Centerpiece using the Core of a Paper Towel to hold the Faux Cherry Blossoms 🌸 Stem in place making arrangement easy. I also used small and big Faux Easter Eggs and a Transparent Pitcher. #fyp #foryou #springdecorating #homedecorideas #easter #easteregg #springdecor #easterbunny #easterdecorating #easterdecoration #easterdecor #easterdecorideas #eastercenterpiece #springdecor

To craft this lovely spring arrangement, begin with a clear vase. Choose one approximately the same height as a paper towel roll or slightly shorter. Then, decide on the decorations to fill the vase. Consider using classic-colored Easter eggs, as seen in @petermomdadadventure’s video, or opt for smaller items like mini foam Easter eggs from Juvale. For an extra splash of color, jelly beans work well too (but be prepared for little ones to reach for them).
Now for the fun part: Position the paper towel roll upright in the center of the vase, and then fill the gap between the roll and the vase with your selected decorations. This creates the illusion of a fully filled vase. Next, add some artificial flowers into the tube. We recommend using faux florals and foliage since water cannot be added to this arrangement. To ensure the arrangement lasts throughout the season, choose either dried or faux flowers.
The beauty of this hack is its versatility, allowing you to customize it according to your preferences. If your vase is shorter, simply cut the paper towel roll to the appropriate height and follow the same steps. You can also enhance the hack by filling the vase with Onions Australia-approved decorated eggs. Overall, it’s an easy and creative way to infuse your home with Easter cheer.
